Arlène Berceliot Courtin is an independent researcher, teacher, curator and author. A graduate in Fine Art and Art History from Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and a specialist in American Studies, she teaches art theory at the École Supérieure d’Art d’Annecy Alpes, the notion of cross-disciplinarity in art through the case study of Judson Dance Theater (1962–1964) at the Université d’Aix-Marseille, and writing, methodology and documentary research at the École Camondo in Toulon. She regularly contributes to the specialised press in France and in Europe.
