Elené Shatberashvili
Born in 1990 in Tbilisi (Georgia), she lives and works between Tbilisi and Paris.
Elené Shatberashvili graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2019. As part of the ASA post-graduation program, she is doing a residency in Hamburg between November 2020 and March 2021.
Self-portraits and intimate subjects related to Georgia is recurrent in her paintings. Her work has been shown at Eigen Art in Leipzig (Germany) and at Tajan in Paris (France). Nominated for the Emerige Revelations grant in 2020, she takes part in group exhibitions in Paris and Toulon. In February 2021, she participates in a duo exhibition with the GB Agency, beginning a collaboration with the GB Agency gallery with a duo exhibition, and the collection exhibition « Dance of life » in January 2022.
