Upcycling workshop for children with Marianna Ladreyt
Fashion-Design-Upcycling workshop for children at the Pernod Ricard Foundation
The workshop will take place in three times: July 6, 13 and 20 from 2 to 5 pm
Information and reservations: [email protected]
The Pernod Ricard Foundation and Marianna Ladreyt, fashion designer, are pleased to offer an upcycling workshop for 8-12 year olds.
Children will have the opportunity to develop their collection of « worn objects », based on end-of-stock items, old tote-bags from the Foundation, recycled buoys, ropes and eyelets.
The workshop will take place in three sessions: July 6, 13 and 20 from 2 to 5 pm.
It is possible to register for all three workshops, which will result in a giant sculpture produced by the group; or individually for one or two meetings. Each time the children will leave with their creation.
The workshop is free of charge, with reservation (maximum 10 children)
Places are limited, so we count on your presence.
Following an upcycling approach of transformation of materials, Marianna Ladreyt creates and produces in Paris. We recently had the pleasure of exhibiting her latest collection based on recycled buoys, « Thétys ». The Pernod Ricard Foundation had also commissioned the designer to create bags based on former tote-bags of the Ricard Foundation, on sale in our bookstore. A graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and the Beaux-arts in Toulouse, Marianna Ladreyt is a fashion designer based in Paris. A finalist at the International Fashion Festival in Hyères in 2017, she is also a Laureate of the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in 2019, the year she launches her eponymous brand.
