FIAC 2010
The Fondation d’entreprise Ricard gets involved with the FIAC on strong, innovative projects.
Cinéphémère
As part of the public art program in the Tuileries gardens, the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard presents 40 artists films in a container transformed in a genuine movie theatre, in collaboration with the FIAC and the Louvre Museum. The Fondation thus presents artists with the opportunity to show their short films in a dedicated space during the art fair.

YCI program
As part of regular invitations it extends to young exhibition curators, the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard is continuing its support to the « Young Curators Invitational » (YCI) in partnership with the Le Journal des Arts. The program brings five young exhibition curators from all over the world to Paris on the proposal of an international jury, which involves the following personalities this year: Anne Ellegood, senior curator at the Hammer Museum (Los Angeles); Jens Hoffmann, director, CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts (San Francisco); Hu Fang, artistic director, Vitamin Creative Space (Guangzhou); Christine Macel, exhibition curator, MNAM – Centre Pompidou (Paris); and Beatrix Ruf, director and curator, Kunsthalle (Zurich).
The five selected curators are invited to visit Parisian art sites and meet with artists, collectors, gallery owners, curators and critics. The Fondation d’entreprise Ricard thus hopes to foster the visibility of French artists abroad. Since its inception, the YCI has introduced 30 young international curators to the French art scene. The names of the curators selected for the 2010 session will soon be available at www.fondation-pernod-ricard.com/curators.
The 2010 FIAC’s iPhone application
The Fondation d’entreprise Ricard supports the development of the FIAC’s new iPhone application. The app helps visitors find their way through the fair, keep up to date with the events of the Fondation Ricard (exhibition, 12th Ricard Foundation Prize, Bal Jaune), and find out about the lively Parisian art scene during the FIAC..
