Ten-7 into Zero-7
Every year, the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts presents a collective exhibition in its Quai Malaquais galleries in Paris. The show features the work of young artists who received their seminar degree (DNSAP) summa cum laude.
In 2008, with some of the exhibition space of the school under renovation, the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard has paired up with the ENSBA on the event. The two Parisian institutions are thus organizing this much anticipated exhibition jointly.
Bertille Bak, Guillaume Bresson, Jean-Baptiste Calistru, Juliette Delaporte, Grégory Derenne, Claire Glorieux, Michaël Jourdet, Anne Le Hénaff, Jean-François Leroy, Alexandre Oudin, Benoit Pieron and Valentin will present their work in the exhibition galleries of the school while pieces by Eric Giraudet, Lukas Hoffman, Perrine Lievens, Carine Parola, and Antoine Roegiers will appear at the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard.
Laurent Busine, who heads the Centre des Arts Contemporains in Le Grand Hornu (Belgium), serves as the curator of the exhibition. The jurors this year are Virginie Barré (artist), Isabelle Ewig (assistant professor in Art History, Université de Paris IV – Sorbonne), and Javier Perez (artist). Each artist will present new works created for the occasion or a selection of works submitted for the diploma. The exhibition will showcase the diversity and the profusion of practices taught at the school through media as different as photography, video, sculpture, or painting.
