Tristan Garcia is a philosopher and writer. Although they may at first sight appear as being separate, his novels and his philosophy steep in a very particular world. During this conference, Garcia will present his work on metaphysics, an introduction to his entire oeuvre, which has also been a determining factor in the work of Flora Katz and the exhibition “Rien ne nous appartient: Offrir” (Nothing belongs to us: offer). Tristan Garcia was born in 1981 in Toulouse. Among his novels, 7 was awarded the 2016 Livre Inter prize, La Meilleure Part des hommes (2008) – Flore Prize in 2008, Mémoires de la jungle (2010), Faber Le Destructeur (2013), En l’absence de classement final (2012), Les Cordelettes de Browser (2012).
