Initiales/ La revue: Pier Paolo Pasolini
We are delighted to announce the launch of issue number 7 of Initiales edited by École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts of Lyon, coproduced by Fondation d’entreprise Ricard.
The seventh issue of the art and research journal rétro-prospective is devoted to one of the twentieth century’s most influential yet controversial voices: Pier Paolo Pasolini. Much ink has been spilled about the Pasolini myth, due in large part to the tragic mystery of his death. The journal Initiales has chosen rather to focus on Pasolini’s life and achievements as an unconventional journalist, visionary writer, playwright, militant intellectual, and film director wedded to documenting the lives of the subproletariat, all of which made him a leading figure on Rome’s post-war scene.
