Vincent Beaurin
Pascal Beausse is welcoming Vincent Beaurin.
Pascal Beausse has invited artist Vincent Beaurin to look back at his career on the occasion of the monograph published by Editions Skira Flammarion.
At the same time, Vincent Beaurin will present du prisme cézanien, a series of five color spots exhibited at the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard from July 7 – 10. These recent works originated in the project Le Spectre, presented at the Atelier Cézanne in Aix-en-Provence.
The evening will also celebrate the occasion with Claire le Restif exit of the exhibition catalog Le Travail de Rivière, which was held in 2009 to Crédac, Centre d’art contemporain d’Ivry.
Le spectre, a monograph on Vincent Beaurin, Editions Skira Flammarion, 2010.
The book, which features an exhaustive presentation of Beaurin’s work, was designed as a story that leads to the colline des Lauves and Paul Cézanne’s studio. The preface was written by historian and Atelier Cézanne director Michel Fraisset. Three texts by Vincent Beaurin and a narrative-interview with close relations – including painter Jean-Michel Albérola – allow readers to immerse themselves in the artist’s world and to grasp what lies behind it.
