Yoga practice with Vidya Gastaldon
« In our approach, healing (if a need for healing is felt) or improvement is done in and through listening to the body and its emotions and not in a desire for transformation. In other words, we work with what we have. The emphasis is on indulgence and not performance, on feeling and not competition. We don’t go looking for tensions (contrary to other body approaches / yoga / gym / dance etc) but welcome them if they arise. We always stay within our limits in order to experience and feel a free body in tranquility. The body practice is finally here only a pretext to consider this tranquility elsewhere than on the yoga mats, where we are most of the time: in Life!
This moment of practice, accessible to the greatest number, remains a possible moment of deep listening and especially of indulgence towards oneself, here no progress to be made, no exploit to be carried out or competition, just the joy of being oneself. We do not neglect the needs of the body and we move… a little more or a little less according to our possibilities. The body is no longer considered as limited and imperfect but as a magnificent organ of sensitivity in its totality and this whatever its state! »
