Elen Riot

A former student of ENS de Lyon-LSH and HEC Grande Ecole, where she defended a thesis in Management Sciences, Elen Riot is University Professor at the University of Paris-8, attached to the Economics Laboratory Dyonisien, and at the University of Reims Champagne Ardennes. She is a member of the Société Française de Management and publishes in numerous French and international journals. Her research relates to arts and culture, heritage and luxury. It favors the form of field investigation, mobilizing ethnographic methods in the tradition of the anthropology of communication and retro-history. She increasingly adds visual and aesthetic methods in order to nourish a multidisciplinary and multiscalar reflection on creation in the living and visual arts.
