Mi-Monstre Mi-Livre: After 8 Books / Publication studio (Paris) with Ariel Ink & Six Chairs Books (Vilnius)
A residency of After 8 Books / Publication studio (Paris) with Ariel Ink and Six Chairs Books (Vilnius)
The Mi-Monstre Mi-Livre residency project at Aperto is the result of a collaboration between the Parisian bookshop and publishing house After 8 Books and its branch Publication Studio Paris, and two Vilnius-based structures, the graphic design studio and publishing house Ariel Ink and the bookshop Six Chairs Books.
Developed on the occasion of the Lithuanian Season in France, Mi-Monstre Mi-Livre consists of a series of writing and publishing workshops organized as part of a residency at the Pernod Ricard Foundation's Aperto space, complemented by a program of events, lectures and screenings.
Mi-Monstre Mi-Livre will thus concretely create a link between the artistic and publishing scenes of the two cities: numerous editions and light publications will be produced with the guest artists over the span of the project, and distributed in several venues in Paris and Vilnius.
