Io Burgard | The Fondation d’entreprise Pernod Ricard

Io Burgard (b. 1987) is an artist based in Paris and Aubervilliers, whose work focuses on the fluidity of the body and its mobility in places of passage.
A graduate of the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris (2014) and the École des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg (2012), she has been awarded residencies at the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès, the Cité International des Arts in Paris and Saint-Ange.
She has taken part in group shows both nationally and internationally at Mo.Co, Montpellier, Fr, FRAC Ile-de-France, Paris, FRAC Haut de France, Palais de Tokyo, Forum Hermès in Tokyo, Maison Hermès in Seoul. She has been offered monographic exhibitions, notably at MRAC Serignan in 2018, Les Capucins in Embrun in 2020, CAC Ugine in 2021, CAC La Traverse in 2023. She has also taken part in artistic events at the Triennale de Dunkerque, Manifesta Marseille and the Biennale d'Anglet.
