Artist talk by Anastasia Sosunova, followed by a discussion moderated by Justina Zubaitė-Bundzė
Fondation Auditorium
Vilnius-based artist Anastasia Sosunova will talk about the way she uses graphics in her process. Considering the history of printing, Ad Stijnman’s researches on printmaking, material from visits to printing museums, as well as her personal experiments and studio know-hows, she will discuss the role of printing techniques in the “digital” age.
Anastasia Sosunova works with video, installation, sculpture and graphic design, linking personal stories with broader cultural structures. Her work has recently been presented at the BFI Film Festival in London, the Malmö Konstmuseum, KIASMA in Helsinki, and the 14th Baltic Triennial; she is currently participating in the 17th Biennale de Lyon, and in exhibitions at the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Palais de Tokyo, as part of the Lithuanian Season in France.
