Launch and signing Girrrland de Frédérique Loutz
This first monograph by Frédérique Loutz, offers a complete analysis of the artist’s work. This richly illustrated book, published by The Drawer, aims to show the breadth of the French artist’s work over the past fifteen years by offering an analysis of the drawing work of this former resident of the Villa Medici, now a professor at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Organized along a chronological line and giving pride of place to the language and words of the artist, this bilingual publication (French/English) is an opportunity to meet Frédérique Loutz, whose questioning of identity has structured her work since the beginning. With texts by Julie Crenn and Camille Morineau; an interview with Frédérique Loutz by Barbara Soyer.
The presentation of this monograph will begin with a discussion between the artist Frédérique Loutz, Barbara Soyer and Sophie Toulouse (The Drawer) and Camille Morineau (AWARE).
