Morgane Tschiember Epiphanie
Installation co-produced by Fondation d’entreprise Ricard in the context of Nuit Blanche.
Morgane Tschiember takes a strong interest in construction materials. In her sculptures, she idealizes the traces of construction as if they were scars taking into account the past, accidents or the history of objects.
In the gardens of the Espace Pierre Cardin, Morgane Tschiember created a metallic stage device, which contains, on each side, a fragment of a verse by Rainer Maria Rilke, so that the text may be read in three phases. Without beginning or end, the last line of the poem “Interior Portrait” forms a loop that she overexposes by giving it an autonomous existence. Through burning, the words only seem more present and intense; they celebrate a moment of communion and sharing, straddling the line between pagan celebrations and individual performance.
