Stephan Steiner is a writer, teacher and organizer.
With a fascination in painterly practices, he started the Mural Sessions—a series of site-specific commissioned murals that investigate the wall as contemplative space which reflects and questions its own identity—located inside an apartment gallery in Geneva. Steiner teaches PhD students for the Association of Universities in Western Switzerland CUSO and founded an NGO which practices research on refugee integration and assimilation. His activities evolve around experimenting with new ways of engaging people and objects in sustainable, collaborative relationships.
