Isis Labeau-Caberia is a Martinican writer and independent researcher.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris (2016), she is currently based between Fort-de-France, London, and Paris. Her hybrid work focuses on the historical traditions of resistance in the Caribbean, the decolonization of epistemologies and cosmovisions, decolonial futurisms, and the dialogue between spirituality and emancipation movements. Her articles were featured in varied publications of critical theory and contemporary art (Censored, Assiégées, Magazine du Palais de Tokyo...). Her first novel, La Prophétie des Soeurs-Serpents, was released in 2022 (Slalom). She is currently working on an upcoming essay with Grasset.
