Born in 1994, Marie Mottaz is a graduate of HEAD.
It is first of all through photography that she looks at the world, society and herself. Then, she will transform her photographs by different processes to come to the drawing or the print.
Her work questions and plays on the limits of the means of perceiving, visually, in representation. The pieces question how far we recognize? How far do things define themselves or not…?
