Tohé Commaret
Tohé Commaret (1992) is a Franco-Chilean director born in Vitry-sur-Seine.
Educated at the Beaux-Arts de Paris then Le Fresnoy, she develops a cinematographic work that oscillates between experimental film and documentary. Through her short films, she explores visual and narrative territories in which intimacy and social issues are intertwined. Her films have been selected at festivals such as the Berlinale or Locarno. She has won several awards at various international festivals. Alongside her film work, she has also shown her work at the Palais de Tokyo and the Centre Pompidou. Her approach, both poetic and political, seeks to redefine cinematic forms and question the relationships between art, politics and society in the contemporary world.
