Vanessa Desclaux

Professor of art history at the National School of Art in Dijon, she holds a doctorate in Curating (Goldsmiths, University of London). She is also an independent curator and was in charge of the Bloomberg Space exhibition programme in London between 2009 and 2010. From 2006 to 2009, she worked for Tate Modern as assistant curator on numerous exhibition and performance projects. From September 2016 to July 2017, she was associate curator with Emilie Renard at the Galerie, Noisy-le-sec art centre. She is currently Associate Curator for the exhibition « Michael Jackson: On The Wall » at the Grand Palais (23 November 2018 – 14 February 2019). She is also the author of essays on art and writes regularly for the specialized press in Europe.
