Zhana Ivanova
Born in 1977 in Bulgaria, she lives and works in Amsterdam.
Zhana Ivanova’s work deals with the reorganization and reconfiguration of everyday patterns and systems to which we have become accustomed. She frequently uses performance to artificially reproduce situations in which social and power relations fluctuate. Zhana Ivanova questions norms, whether they are objective rules or subjective principles. She is a graduate of Queen Mary University College London and the Rijksakademie Amsterdam (2012-2013).
