Zhana Ivanova

Born in 1977 in Bulgaria, she lives and works in Amsterdam.

Zhana Ivanova’s work deals with the reorganization and reconfiguration of everyday patterns and systems to which we have become accustomed. Zhana Ivanova questions norms, whether they are objective rules or subjective principles. She is a graduate of Queen Mary University College London and the Rijksakademie Amsterdam (2012-2013).
Her recent exhibitions include: De Apple, Amsterdam (2018), Kunsthalle Basel (2015, 2016, 2018), Centre Pompidou, Paris (2015), David Roberts Art Foundation, London (2015), Fondation Galeries Lafayette, Paris (2014, 2017), Ellen de Bruijne Projects, Amsterdam (2014), Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (2013).
