This is Frédérique Loutz's first monograph, offering a complete analysis of the artist's drawing work.
This richly illustrated book aims to show the depth of the French artist's work over the last fifteen years, by offering an analysis of the drawn work of this former resident of the Villa Médicis, now a professor at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Organized along a chronological line and giving pride of place to the language and words of the artist, this publication is an opportunity to meet Frédérique Loutz, whose questions of identity have structured her work since the beginning. With texts by Julie Crenn and Camille Morineau; an interview with Frédérique Loutz by Barbara Soyer.
