Unité

In the own logic of the artist of "choosing not to choose", this first monographic book by Boris Achour illustrates his work since 1993 in the most comprehensive way.

A singular work by its radical formal heterogeneousness (Sculpture, video, drawings, performances, installations, sound rooms) and referential diversity (influenced as much by Gombrowicz and Musil as by TV series, entertainment, popular culture,...). Unity proposes through more than a hundred photographic reproductions to discover this manifold, multidisciplinary work, presenting, by successive and incessant moves, a script-writing of the art forms, permanently undetermined, between tributes and impertinence. Also featuring three critical texts and an interview with the artist, this book invites us to a reflection on this work according to various perspectives.
