Hue will present recent productions at the Fondation : Un Ange (2005), Pitbull Carnaval, L’œil de Fred and Y’a plus d’os (2006).

« Jean-Charles Hue’s work revolves around division as a mute process. Indeed, its power lies in the suggestion, within the image, « of an original world » (Deleuze) which doubles the real environments of actualization, whether geographic or social. « The original world does not exist independently from the historic and geographic environment which serves as its medium. » (ibid.) Accordingly, Jean-Charles Hue approaches the derived world, (through) which or beneath which the original world will express itself. He tells us quite simply that the real has nothing natural to it as long as the idea of death has not been factored into it. »
