CANNIBALES #3 « sorry, it's these techno-feudal times » with Flora Bouteille
Each year, the Paris - Performances cycle is transformed under the impetus of the artist invited to imagine an original program of meetings within the broader field of performance. For the 2023-2024 season, Julie Béna is passing the torch to Flora Bouteille, whose performance practice is one of the most exciting in terms of its address to the public and the environments it produces. The meeting on Wednesday March 6 was the opportunity for a second phase for the CANNIBALES project.
Presented at the Fondation on Wednesday June 5, 2024, sorry, it's these techno-feudal times is the third episode in the Cannibales series.
"sorry, it's these techno-feudal times is the thired episode of the series Cannibales. In this performance, we solve the riddle we've posed: “If I cut off my arm, it's my arm and me; if I cut off my leg, it's my leg and me; and if I cut off my head, it's my head and what?” and discover what's behind the character of Aurore. Here we experiment with the “fake” effects (fake news, bots, trolls) on human psychology, marking the start of research into disinformation in contemporary hybrid warfare."
The Cannibales project is the 2023 winner of the Regional Fund for Emerging Talent (FoRTE), financed by the Île-de-France region.
