Mélody Lu
Mélody Lu lives and works in Montreuil.
Mélody Lu is a multi-disciplinary artist working mainly in the media of painting, sculpture and video. Made of collage-assemblage, attentive to the places and people who cross her path, Mélody Lu's composite work makes the unseen and the voiceless speak. A self-taught visual artist, Mélody Lu has trained in a variety of techniques, including screen printing, self-publishing, tattooing and tombstone engraving. She has taken part in several group exhibitions in Paris, Brussels, New York and Luzerne, and worked as an assistant to artists Kembra Pfahler and Anne le Trotter. In 2023, Mélody Lu devoted herself to her project DEVATAKOR, (Mondes nouveaux), which she showed at the Musée Guimet on the occasion of Nuit Blanche 2023, as well as at the Tour Orion in Montreuil for her first solo exhibition.
